Dog Training We Offer
Basic Obedience Class
Basic Dog Obedience Class – Plus; Involves a positive reinforcement approach that is highly conducive to rapid learning and retention. Unlike punishment-based techniques which can create unwanted side effects such as fear and distrust, a reward-based method creates a confident dog and harmonious home life.
Basic Obedience Plus is the foundation of our training program. It is for dogs and handlers who need to start at the beginning. This class will teach you and your pooch how basic obedience can help with good manners and proper leash etiquette.
Training begins with an orientation giving you a basic understanding of dogs think and how to create a healthy relationship with your pet-dog through Engagement. Engagement should be the basis of any training program that utilizes positive reinforcement. Once a handler understands the importance of engagement and how to obtain it we move into the basic behaviors like Sit, Down, Come, Controlled Walking and much much more.
We also include a problem-solving orientation where we go over pointers to assist you in issues pertaining to chewing, digging, barking, nipping, jumping, and any other unwanted behaviors your dog might be displaying. Socializing is encouraged throughout class to ensure your dog is comfortable working around other dogs.
Our desire by the end of this class is to have your dog listening obediently and enthusiastically to your every command. We want to help strengthen the bond between you and your dog for many years of happiness to come with your companion.

Puppy Pre-school Class
Puppies have developmental stages during which time it is critical to teach good habits and prevent undesirable behaviors. Exposure to other dogs and people during these stages will help your puppy develop into a calm, well-adjusted adult dog. Early preventative training presented with positive reinforcement methods will give you the skills to train your dog.
This class will teach you and your pooch proper crate training, not jumping on people & not biting.
Whether you are trying to potty train your puppy, going for car rides or simply need to keep your puppy safe during the night, crate training and be a very effective tool. However, utilizing the crate especially planning and training. Too often puppy owners will force their puppy to go into the crate. We never recommend anybody to force their dog to do anything but instead we teach our clients to use positive reinforcement to make the crate an enjoyable experience. Our desire by the end of this class is to have your dog listening obediently and enthusiastically to your every command. We want to help strengthen the bond between you and your dog for many years of happiness to come with your companion.
If there is one thing that most brand-new puppy owners dislike the most it is their puppy jumping on family and strangers. This class will take a positive approach in helping teach your puppy that there are better ways to communicate then to jump on everybody.
Puppies have a number of ways to they communicate with us, one of the most annoying is the constant need to mouth or bite us. Instead of taking a avenue of punishment to work on this issue, Prodogz helps teach puppy owners a fun and intuitive game to help work on this annoying issue.
Prodogz Private One-On-One training is designed to target particular needs you the handler might be experiencing with your canine partner. Whether it may be jumping on strangers, not coming when called, stealing food off the table or difficulty with crate time, private one-on-one training can address those issues and others that you may be having. Fit Dog Class
Canine conditioning exercises that also get your dog thinking. The exercises and skills practiced in this course will require the dog uses his brain to problem solve all while he learns where his feet are and how to balance his body.
Young dogs, especially those younger than 16 weeks of age, benefit from Fit Dog classes as part of a well-rounded socialization plan. Puppies this young are learning and making association with the world around them, so the more positive experiences they have with all kinds of people, places, sounds, movements, foods, etc., the more likely they will become confident, well-adjusted adult dogs. Obedience skills such as “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “come” can even be incorporated into a Fit Dog session to help your new puppy begin to generalize these skills.
Creates a confident dog who knows how to use his body. This is not a rehabilitation course but a fun way to increase your dogs fitness.
