Dog Training: No Jumping

Jumping is one of the most common issues that we deal with at Prodogz Dog Training. There are many different reasons why dogs jump on their owners and guests. Most of the time jumping is a product of the puppy or dog trying to communicate with us.

While the idea of "training" may seem daunting, it is simply teaching an animal what behavior works or doesn't work through resulting consequences — so whether you realize it or not, you are actually training your dog every moment of the day. Fortunately for you, preventing jumping is possible even without structured training. There are some simple solutions to this problem that require minimal effort and fit easily into your normal interactions with your dog.

Solution: Jumping is one of the easier behaviors to teach to your dog with the correct tools. Our four-week basic obedience class covers jumping and other important behaviors. If jumping is the only issue that you were having with your dog we can also set up a one-on-one private session to work on your dogs jumping issues.
