This gallery documents the 109th Puppy Class at Prodogz Dog Training in Medford, Oregon, beginning March 28, 2025. These 2 photos preserve class and graduation moments shared by local puppies, their owners, and trainer Jason Lake.
Puppy classes help owners build communication, confidence, engagement, social skills, and useful household manners during an important stage of development. Every puppy progresses differently, and these images celebrate the people and dogs who completed this Prodogz class together.
Puppy Training Behind the Photos
Photos from the 109th Puppy Class document one chapter of Prodogz's Puppy Preschool history. Starting March 28, 2025, owners worked from the same core idea that guides the program today: build engagement and confidence first, then use those foundations to teach manners and early obedience.
Because this is an archived class from 2025, the photographs are presented as a historical record rather than as a claim that every pictured dog is performing every skill described below. These are core skills taught across this Prodogz class series.
Engagement and name recognition
One of the first Puppy Preschool goals is teaching the puppy that paying attention to the owner is rewarding. Engagement and name-recognition games create an early communication habit that makes later obedience easier because the puppy learns to orient back to the handler instead of constantly following the environment.
Crate routines, handling and settling
Puppy Preschool also gives owners a plan for everyday home skills such as crate routines, calm handling and settling. These quieter exercises are important because a puppy needs to learn not only how to be active and engaged, but also how to relax and accept normal care and household structure.
Puppy biting and jumping foundations
Puppy biting and jumping are normal young-dog behaviors, but they are much easier to shape before they become practiced habits. Owners learn how to redirect biting, reward appropriate interaction and teach the puppy that calm behavior and four paws on the floor are more successful ways to get attention.
To start building these skills with a new puppy, visit the Puppy Classes page and review Prodogz's current class information and application process.
