Teaching Your Dog to Come Fast, Consistently with Reliability

Class Description:

A reliable recall could save your dog’s life—and it’s the single most important behavior you can teach. Whether you’re raising a high-performance working dog or just trying to keep your backyard buddy safe, this class will equip you with the tools to make your recall command bulletproof.

Based on the proven training principle , this course will walk you step-by-step through a motivational and structured recall progression. You’ll learn how to build reliability through engagement, proof your dog’s response under real-world distractions, and fairly integrate low-level aversives to ensure your dog comes when called—every time, no matter what.

We start with fun and energetic restrained recalls, then methodically increase the challenge using distractions and competing motivators. You'll also learn how to use long lines, leash pressure, and remote collars (if this is a tool you choose to use) correctly and humanely to layer in accountability. Finally, we show you how to finish your recall with a clear, consistent terminal behavior that suits your lifestyle—whether it’s a front sit, between the legs position, or a clean heel.

This class will be offered as a joint project between Milazzo K9 and Prodogz
